Call for applications for members
Action Group renewal
Cancer control knowledge and expertise are widely dispersed throughout Canada's health-care system. To draw on this information and make it readily accessible to all stakeholders, the Partnership developed collaborative networks of experts, called Action Groups.
As the Partnership moves forward, many Action Groups, now called Advisory Groups, are extending their reach and calling upon individual experts—including patients, survivors and their family members—to join their work in an advisory capacity.

Inspiring innovation in service delivery: New symposium dates confirmed
Registration deadline approaching
Inspiring Innovation in Service Delivery: Optimizing the Cancer Workforce, takes place in Montreal on January 25-26.
Finite resources are a reality in every aspect of cancer control—from prevention to palliation. With the goal of helping to meet this overriding challenge to the delivery of optimal patient care, the Partnership's Health Human Resources Action Group is hosting a symposium to explore innovative methods of service delivery.

Practice guideline development workshop
Call for participants
Practice guideline developers (research coordinators, project managers, disease team members) involved in guideline development related to cancer control are invited to apply to attend a workshop in Victoria, B.C., from March 1-3, 2010. This is a Guidelines Action Group Capacity Enhancement Program initiative.
